if you want hair growth, shaving will cause it to grow faster. it stimulates the follicles. ie, the hair on your arm doesn't grow, put where you shave does.

Actually, no, it doesnt grow faster because its a different kind of hair all together. And no, shaving it does NOT make it grow back faster, thats just a myth. The hair on our heads grow about a 1/2 inch a month without any kind of stimulation. If you stimulate it (i.e. brushing, washing, rubbing etc) it will grow a *tad* faster but not much.

Not really, I think the hair on our head and the hair on our body grows at the same rate actually...
But obviously the hair on our body grows very short lol.
