1John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. HE THAT FEARETH IS NOT MADE PERFECT IN LOVE".
Matt 10:28, Jesus said, "...fear him which is ABLE to destroy both soul and body in hell", but he goes on to say that he knows the FALL of every sparrow, and the FALL of every hair on our head, and then in verse 31, says, "FEAR YE NOT THEREFORE, ye are of more value than many sparrows".
This is the "perfect love" spoken about in 1John 4:18; God's love is perfect love, and only through His love are we made perfect.
