Well last year I got a divorce with my meth addict she male porn watching abusive exhusband. Now I am in a loving relationship with my second husband and I just had a baby girl. Lately though I keep dreaming of the strangest things. Like one dream I found myself living at my old apartment with my exhusband and I was so scared. I grabbed my daughter and all my things and was looking for my second husband who was down the street waiting for me. In all these dreams my second husband saves me. I really don't like dreaming of my ex husband because he really scares me. In some dreams he is raping me or he is trying to get me to use drugs. These dreams really freak me out and sometimes I wake up crying. What do they mean? I know I am over him and I am happy with my life now.

Although you are over him, he was truly dreadful to you, and you may need to find closure in order to put things to rest. He was so dreadful to you that you could possibly have post traumatic stress disorder, and may need to consider looking in to counseling for that. Since you just had a baby, it's possible that you could chalk this up to hormonal changes. You sound like you're ok, but be alert to the symptoms of post-partum depression. You mention that in the dreams your second husband saves you. In a sense, your relationship with your second husband *has* saved you, and will restore your faith in people and in men, after having come through such a horrible experience with the first husband. Try to chalk it up to that you are setting out to put closure on the first relationship, and working out the feelings you had about it, and look forward to your future, it sounds like you are doing great now....Good luck...

Sounds like you still have sub-conscious thoughts that your ex may try and come back into your life and all of the scary stuff that would be involved, BUT, it also shows that you really love, depend on, and truly feel safe with your second hubby, and that no matter what, he will be there at your side through thick and thin. So i would concentrate on that and make sure you realize it to your core and when you have that solidly in your sub-conscious the dreams should start to fade away and eventually stop altogether, save the extremely rare one that may happen after some type of stressful day, but other than that, happy dreaming is in your future! Just remember to remind yourself everyday how great your life is and of the people that are now in it, and NOT who used to be in it.

Have you seen the ex lately,if so that is why you are dreaming about him. The dreams are telling you that you need to gain full control of your life. It looks like he still has a little control over you, or maybe you need to see a counselor to get it all out of your system. I mean maybe you still have scars that need to heal from the inside. Well living in your old apartment with your ex-husband represents the old life you had in the past with your first husband. And your new husband represents your deliverance and security from the life you had with your ex-husband. Also, your dreams about your ex raping you and forcing you take drugs represents you feeling oppressed and in mental bondage to your first husband. Sometimes you will have dreams about rape and drugs because you are reliving the memories and thoughts of your past. If you keep talking about your ex alot and your past life with him, expect to have dreams about him. You will eventually dream what you think and talk about.

It just means that you are processing the traumatic experiences of the previous relationship. Now that you "feel safe" with the new husband, you are getting closure to the emotional turmoil that was the ex-boyfriend.

I think these dreams just show how happy you are in your new life. Most people dream of things that scare them or bad experiences so that is why you are dreaming of your ex and him doing bad things to you.

it just means that you were looking for a way out of that situation and you found it. it's just reminding you of your past. when you wake up feeling scared just know that that's never going to happen again and look at your new husband know that you'll always be safe.

dreams dictate emotions. i feel like your dream is just representing some negative feeling you hvae right now. perhaps you are in a situation that brings forth similar feelings you once had.
