This is open for all, but am really interested in hearing from the atheist on this.
Here is my opinion (1)Wicca/ Paganism first then (2)Churches of Christ, then (3)Jehovah's Witnesses, then the(4) Mormons.

This is just my opinion based on experience with these people.

This is a positive question wanting positive answers this is asking which ones produce the most positive people not the other way around please.
This is a chance to say something nice about those in your life.

If Atheism was a religion it would have been third on my list.

I am an atheist who, after leaving home at a very young age, was practically raised by witches and pagans. As far as what they believed in? I could care less, they showed me love. So I love them back. Before I came across my witches, I had been raised as a Jehovah's Witness, no love there, well, nothing that is real. I don't know any mormons. Forgiveness? for what? tolerant? I think that you cannot group atheists into one category, far too many variables on that, since each one is a group unto themself. singular group. crazy. anyway, If there were only so many islands to go to on earth, and I had to choose one, I would swim to the witches island.

In my experience, it's been the Society of Friends, more commonly known as Quakers.

I sort of feel turncoatish not mentioning my own, the Roman Catholic Church... there are lots of tolerant, carling, wise and loving people in the Church, but sad to say, they're counterbalanced by quite a few dogmatic, judgmental types of people too.

Quakers, on the other hand -- you rarely meet a bigoted, closed and uncaring Quaker, in my experience.

I don't know that I could honestly generalize. I've found tolerant, loving, caring, forgiving communities of faith in many different religions. I think you can get good and bad in just about any belief-system. The thing is, when you're around them, do they help you become a better human being? Do they embody Love? If so, who cares what label they use?

Peace to you.

To me the most tolerant, loving, caring and forgiving people would be Buddhism, if that could be considered a religion at all.
After that pagans.

I believe that examining the life of the founder of any religion provides the clearest answer to this question...Often times, those who follow are poor examples of the intentions of the genuine article...

1- Christians
2- Jehova's witnesses
3- Mormons
4- Wicca, paganism.

I chose paganism last, since satanism also belongs to that group, and satanists are anything but friendly, loving and tolerant.

I don't think you can really ask which is more forgiving. I think it's more of where are there more individuals that are more understanding. People that harassh others b/c their beliefs aren't the same usually aren't following the doctrine of their religion. Jesus was preaching that anyone who kills can never do it in his name. So I think there is a lot of play in your question as to which is more forgiving. I'm not atheist but I know of a group of people that meet everyday to talk about how religion can't exist and they're pretty intolerant of people that are religious. I think people can get fanatical about anything and too much of any extreme is never good.
