Asking the top two questions above, I am doubtful I will find a reasonable answer to these questions. Spare me the answer of it is up to me to decide because I already know that. It is a question with a point. How can mankind say that one God is right and the other one is wrong? How the hell would you know, really how would you know...?

Really, nobody has a clue. People are so annoyingly arrogant and full of sh*t when they proclaim 'their way is the way' Who would want to listen to the type of Gods that would have them as his/her followers anyways.

None are right, none are wrong. I view all the Gods and Goddesses as being fashioned of human consciousness. They all reflect us, and our human conditions in manners that serve us in some way, which is why we created them as such in the first place. We create the Gods in OUR own image, not the other way around.

When I call to any number of them in ritual, I do not actually believe any of them exist, but rather, I am calling upon the essence they represent, from within MYSELF.

Listen to all of them. Ignore the ones you don't care for. It is a pantheon for your creation. Hell, make up your own. This has always been 'the way'

Who but humans bickers over their gods, their dads and so on. If there was a universal god, our world would not be in disarray. It and we humans would function perfectly. The all consciousness some call god for lack of a better term. We are each a part of that consciousness, just a little piece of it. Our communication has been severed through DNA manipulation. It's in our ancient history. Our Junk DNA is really the remaining 10 strands that were changed. They are now reconnecting. God and the concept of god is falling be the wayside and must do so in order for us to evolve. Religion was necessary at a point in our evolving, but we are beyond that now. We hit this area of space only once every 26,000 years. Apparently we screwed up last time. We have to make it right this time. Our vibrational level is rising because of the photon belt we are in and our DNA is reconnecting to 12 strands. We must carry through all the way out of 3d to the 5th higher vibration. This is what god is holding back and we must not lose this time. People must wake up.

We have to shut our minds up and listen to our spirits. The truth is there, inside you. You won't find it outside of yourself. An external god will not work.

Yo, Luc! The RIGHT god/goddess for many seems to be the one who promises the most benefits: money of course, security, status, being part of a powerful group. For example, many in our society worship Fame, the bitc# Goddess. She seduces folks with visions of sex, drugs, and 'rock n' roll, and produces really well for a while, until you get too dependent on her. Then she dumps you...just look at Britney Spears, Sen. Larry Craig, the Kennedy's,Jim Bakker, etc. Come to think of it, I bet Fame is one of YOUR top demons, Dog. Seems to me that YOU have taken over much of human endeavor including politics, the churches, the military-industrial complex, the media, etc, and turned it over to YOUR own nefarious purposes. So whats a human to do? Just keep a low profile, stay out of the spotlight, and don't go off the deep end about anything. That's why I remain an agnostic. Merry Christmas, Luc.

Mankind can only guess. It's all shots in the dark. Certain people insist that they are right and some even get violent over it. That is because they are in fear. That is what name brand religion brings. It teaches fear and doom. This is why so many act the way they do. Remember, religion is for people who are trying to keep from going to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there.

My searching for validation has lead me to Christianity. If you are actually interested in finding the answers to why Christians believe Christianity is the right religion and what proof they have, there are plenty of good books and websites out there. The topic you're looking for is called "Christian Apologetics".

The book I read that started convincing me was a quick easy and enjoyable read. It's an autobiography about an agnostic bordering on athiest who was challenged to disprove the bible. It's written by a man named Josh McDowell and the title is "More than a Carpenter". If you want the book that writes about his research and findings on his challenge to disprove the bible, it's a very large book, but it's called "New Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell (it's about the size of a text book and reads similar to one as well).

Check out those books and google Christian Apologetics. You may be suprised with what you find if you're really interested in looking.

Just sharing my thoughts on this one, but...

Not one of them. The only one in my eyes that can really be seen as "right" in any context is the one that is truly OK and comfortable for you as the individual, whether that's Christianity, Pagan, etc or even Athiests who believe no religion is right.

No-one can ever be right, because it is all anchored on perception and subjectivity. There is no "definitive fact" you can apply to the world as a whole, no concrete truth. If there is such a thing as proof that a God does/could exist, then on the same context there is proof that millions could also exist.

It's just about where you put your faith, and what's truly right for you...

Well, present me with some actual god[s] or goddesses, and we can start from there...until then, the answer is none.I like how Hari conveniently ignores Hindu oppression of Sikhs and Muslims....

The one who 'speaks' to you is the one for you to believe in. The one whose path you can best follow, the path that feels like 'home' for you. It may be that what you believe doesn't fall under the umbrella of any specific religion. So no God is right, and no God is wrong. What you believe is what is real.

God speaks to each of us in His own way, He loves us, and He wants us to share eternity with Him.

But remember, although Satan's reign will not last an eternity, he wants your soul too. Not so that you will be with him, but so that God can't have you. So he speaks to us just as much as God does.

You have to listen to the RIGHT one. People will say that I am crazy, but we all have that little voice inside our head. You can call it conscience, reason, intuition, or whatever. Satan will hide his voice by making it into something logical, that makes sense. God's will be pure, and built around love, for He is a loving God.

There is nothing that I can say to you that will convince you that I am right. I have faith that I am right, and it is because of the things that God has done in my life, and more importantly in my heart. We may not have much faith in God, or any faith in Him at all. He never loses faith in us though, and He NEVER stops fighting for your soul.

There is not right or correct religion. It is only by setting aside the differences, we will ever come to the Truth.
