Give him a small glass of prune juice or two prunes, this should clear out his system and help the situation

He might have a little bug of some sort, re: the temperature.

Medication can make hard stools or constipation. Make some bran muffins and dice up some prunes in them he will eat something to improve his situation.

"Hot in his tummy" sounds like out of balance acidity in his stomach. Try a little lemon juice (one Tablespoon in a juice glass of water with a little splenda or sugar). It will help correct the acid balance in his stomach. The medication for his constipation probably threw the PH in his stomach out of balance. Many medications cause bowel or PH balance problems.

Have a Great Holiday Season.

I would say too

1. Stop taking the medication
2. Agreeably, The stomach pains are probably indegistion caused by imbalance of acid. Fibre is good for indigestion.
3. As it probably days on the med packet "In case of unwanted side affects, consult a doctor immediately.,"

Check with your Son's doctor for some really good advise.
We are not experts and would hate to see him suffer from being misguided.

Kids this age can indeed get an appendicitis, and you would do well to take him into the emergency room. The last thing you wish to deal with is a burst appendix.

unfortunately, you will need to spend Christmas at the ER. take your child to the Dr. hopefully ..it's nothing but a simple virus...good luck to you and your son.
