You should NOT kill yourself. The reason to live now is because this pain is only temporary. I know, it feels like it will last forever, but it won't.
Please remember that you matter in this world. There are people who love you and would be absolutely distraught if they lost you. If you don't love yourself enough to live then at least love your family enough to live.
Please call 1-800-SUICIDE, there are counselors waiting to listen to you right this very second.

I've felt like this before. I wanted to do it so badly, but I couldn't because I thought about what it would do to the people who cared about me. I knew that the love of my life was gone, and that I wouldn't be able to get them back, but I got over it.
You might have been misguided in your relationship to think you could be with them forever-- but the only thing that lasts forever is an honest marriage with mutual trust, love and understanding. Love will come and find you like everyone else has said; there are plenty of fish in the sea. It just takes time. I can't determined the time it'll take, but just keep looking.
As for the suicide, stop right there. Get some help by calling 1-800-SUICIDE. They have counseling to keep you from doing foolish things. Please at least attempt to call them instead of pushing it aside. Life is too precious to be lost because somebody you so-called 'loved' walked out of your life in a flash.

Take a break and trek or do something physically demanding.
Join social service. I think if you could change ur perspective on ur life when you look at people with no arms/ no home/ no food/cancer and aids patients. Im not saying what you have lost is nothing, its everything to you but u just might change ur mind abt killing urself after seeing what these people need from society.

You are apparently young, or a very emotionally-immature adult.
Either way, you need to get some counselling for this irrational level of dissatisfaction.
Don't kill yourself over such a misguided view of the value/meaning of this lost relationship.
Everyone has at least one big love-loss during their life. This is apparently your first one, so you haven't learned how to rationally deal with the discomfort yet.
Get some therapy, and you will be able to get some rational perspective on your situation.

There is no reason to kill yourself, you might feel like life is not worth living and that will happen to most people at some stage...
just know that if you give yourself the time and courage to move on and know that there are people out there who love you and don't want you to leave them behind. youll actually be relived that you are still alive!
i know have not fixed your problem or the way you are feeling but i hope i have made a difference in your decision.

I asked the same question on March 10 2005 when the love of my life died and you know something ? I'm still here. This is my 3rd Christmas without her and I have a chance to reflect on my life,to perhaps change what people think of me, in a positive way .Life is just too damn short as it is so don't cut it off when there are so many things to experience yet.

Are you safe right now. Is there someone you can talk to. I would really hate for you to harm yourself. This is a pretty serious thing as depression and suicide are very real. Please talk to someone about these feelings.
Love can be painful, as you know, but we have all been there and you will get through it. Just hold on. Cling to your family and your close friends and tell them whats going on with you. Don't try to get through this by yourself. Don't feel embarrassed about your feelings. Love sometimes causes pain which supersedes all areas of human understanding making it seem impossible to recover. But you will. I'll pray for you.
God bless!

Of course you should not kill your self. I know that when you're in love with someone it feels like you cant live with out them, but in all reality you can live with out them. It will take time just like with any real pain or loss in life but I assure you, you will be ok one day. Good luck and I hope you find straight when you need it most.

What? No, cut it out silly. There is always a reason to live even if your only around to hate people there is a purpose for living. If you dont drop dead then you must stay alive and do your part. Take Care-Rachel.

Don't say that! Theres plenty more fish in the sea. You will find somebody new, don't worry. that's should be no reason to kill yourself. Value your life. Your life is the most important thing for you! Move on and forget about her! She's not worth it!!!
