anything that you use as a factory made structure at a work site is termed as prefabricated one. during the initial ages of construction, most of the things were used to be cast-in-situ (constructed at site) but now with the advancement of technology most of the engineers are tending to use the prefabricated structures, the reason being simple: at a factory you can always have better quality control and thus the dependability of the structures is increased. with this advancement the one of the most benefited sector is that of construction, where now the prefabricated houses have started rolling out. these houses needs to be assembled at the site of work and a very little construction is needed. this technology is in vogue in west.
