I'm not very familiar with the Christian faith but do ALL denominations of Christianity believe you are born with sin or always sin and that we are undeserving of God's love? It just sounds so bleak. I'd like to think that I'm a good person and although I don't make the BEST choices ALL the time that I will not go to hell because I said a cuss word but have not been baptised. Does that make sense? I mean I guess we don't deserve God's love, but I just don't like that some Churches make it sound like we don't deserve it and never will and no person, how hard they try, will ever be worth anything in His eyes. You know?

I think that would make you a realistic person for the most part.

All truly Christian denominations know that before we can appreciate God's 'good news', we must respond to how bad the 'bad news' is. Until we are awoken to the dire mess we are in, we will never turn to God, crying out to him for the help that only he can give. God sees us as we truly are and we are not a pretty sight.
God is not out to produce nice people - he wants to make new men and women out of us. There are nice people who do not even believe in God, who don't acknowledge God gave them their nice dispositions and healthy digestions and comfortable livings. They insist they acquired all that themselves, or by some unthinking 'good luck'. There are nice people who do believe in God and appreciate their gifts and blessings, but they do not want God to radically change them. They imagine that by being good (i.e. better than those who don't believe in God), they're doing God a favor, and will get rewarded for it. The bad news is as the prophet Isaiah said, 'All our righteous acts are as a filthy rag; we all shrivel up like a leaf and like the wind our sins sweep us away.' (ch 64:6-7) And this was said of God's chosen people!
Sin is so hideous in the eyes of our holy God that he cannot look upon it - and, consequently, us - until we are cleansed. Only the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7-2:2) By putting all our faith in what Christ did on the cross, God will pardon us and we will then know his forgiveness. That is such a wonderful experience, it transforms us into new creatures in Christ. God's love becomes real to us, we start to learn just how much he loves us, warts and all, because he begins the life-long process of changing us into the likeness of Christ. We have to die to self first then live for Christ. We are of inestimable value in the eyes of God because he gave the most precious thing he had - at terrible cost and agony - to redeem us from sin. Christians who repent of their sinful, Christless selves, become as the apple of God's eye. You cannot read the Bible without seeing that!

Many religions do seem to make GOD a very bleak, unforgiving individual. No one is perfect and we ALL sin. Supposedly Jesus died for our sins and as long as we accept him as our personal savior, we will be forgiven. I personally believe and hope that God knows how we are in our hearts. We should TRY to do the right thing. We know we aren't perfect and we will slip. But we should keep trying to help people and make the right choices. Follow the Golden Rule.

I'm not very familiar with the Christian faith but do ALL denominations of Christianity believe you are born with sin or always sin and that we are undeserving of God's love?
I am not sure that all do that claim the christian title or tag.
******************************************************************
It just sounds so bleak.
This is why Jesus came. Before He came and died for us, we had a bleak future impending on us.
The wages of sin is death.
Whoever says they are without sin is a liar.
Even when we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
******************************************************************
I'd like to think that I'm a good person and although I don't make the BEST choices ALL the time that I will not go to hell because I said a cuss word but have not been baptised.
Have you ever lied?
Have you ever taken what isnt yours?
Have you ever looked at a guy and you thought to yourself "wow, I would like to have some of that" ?
Have you ever been really angry with your brother or sister, or your neighbor?
most likely you have done all these things. so, that would make you a lying, stealing, lusting and murdering person. Does that really sound like a good person?
No, but as I said above, He came so that we might have hope. Our hope is in Him, our Saviour.
**************************************************************
Does that make sense?
by human standards, that can make sense. But our human wisdom is filthy rags to God.
The bible actually says our best to him is like filthy rags.
That is why we should not compare ourselves to each other, but rather by the standard that God set up, the Holy Bible.
***************************************************************
I mean I guess we don't deserve God's love......
You are right, we dont deserve it but.....
****************************************************************
but I just don't like that some Churches make it sound like we don't deserve it and never will ....
But you just stated that you agree that we dont DESERVE it. That is the key word. We deserve hell for breaking the law of God, but, because Jesus loves us, He came to redeem us.
*****************************************************************
no person, how hard they try, will ever be worth anything in His eyes. You know?
There it is. We are not worthy of His love, we are sinning, rebellious idolatrous people.
But, Jesus loves you. He showed you how much by dying on the cross and allowing the Roman soldiers to nail his hands to the beam, allowing them to beat him until you could hardly recognize that he was even a man.
Do you really want we deserve?
Time is short, choose which ones are living out of faith.
Merry Christmas all

The Bible describes all humans as being sinners. (Romans 3:23) However, this does not mean that God does not love us. The Bible expressly states; "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you". (James 4:8) One of my favorite scriptures states:
"For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, 'Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.' " -Isaiah 41:13
Another popular scripture says
"For God loved the world so much, that he gave his only-begotten Son." (John 3:16) Wouldn't you agree that such a gift shows how much God loves mankind, His creation? Have you ever given one of your most prized possessions to someone you didn't didn't care for? The Bible assures us; "throw all your anxiety on [God], because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7) Yes, God cares for those who desire to know Him and live the way He wants us to live.
The Bible promises that mankind will eventually be set free from enslavement to sin and corruption. -Romans 8:21
