If you both decided to eat in a restaurant and see a movie afterwards, what should you properly do? Will you let him pay? Will you offer to pay for both of ur meal and movie? Will you offer to pay just yours? Please help. (This is in the assumption that he never clearly said he will treat you)

if the guy asked you out, he should pay for the first date. you could always buy next time, or if you go to the movies he can buy the tix and you could pick up some popcorn. you can offer, but if he insists let him do it.

Offer, but don't be pushy. It is polite and traditional for the man to pay. If I went on a first date and the man didn't insist on paying I think I would like him a little less because of it. However if you are in a relationship it should be 50/50.

In my experience, guys SHOULD always pay for the first date. Not sayin that women should NEVER pay, of course equality is important, but, for the first date, i think its more like a manner that the guys pay. unless hes some cheap ***, then what's the point wasting your time?

umm. go to the restaurant and then if he doesn't want to pay for your meal he will ask for separate checks. Or in some other way he will indicate that he's not paying for your food. If he doesn't pay for your food, then you each are paying for yourselves obviously. If he does pay for your food, then you pay at the movies. That's what I'd do, anyway.

Take money, offer to pay...he most likely will pay, but you have to offer. I always say at least pay the tip. :) It's nice to know you're not with him for the money :)

well.... being a guy, its kinda his duty to pay. so idk, i would bring some cash just in case... and if he dosnt. time to move on, and get the hell outa there... lol
