All phone still have a volume or ringer slide to them. Turn the ringer off and this will allow you to get sometime to sleep!!

I have the same thing at home, and I should get a new one!
but anyways, Whenever i need some serious rest or don't want to talk to people i plug the cord out. That is the easiest and most practical way to turn it off if you prefer not to be disturbed during the night while you are asleep.
the thing is my phone has the volume ringer, but that wont help, because it just lowers the volume but it wont shut it off!
unplug the cord and sleep like a king!

Just unplug the phone jack (clear plastic plug) from the wall. Just plug it back in when you wake up : )
