Okay I used to dress like a thug with all that gay paht farm, and roca wear because I liked their fashions ans style...but lately i feel alot of girlsreally don't like the gangster image even though i don't smoke or blaze. There is this girl and I really, really want her but I want to change myself not just for her, but a lttile personally from the thugish ways. Is it bad if I try to change just to make her think that I am alike her and stuff...you know what i mean ?

I think if you would like to change, for you, you should my friend, there is nothing wrong with anyones style that they have if that is how they feel comfortable. If a girl likes you, she will like you for you, not your clothes right? My suggestion is to show her what and who YOU are, if she likes you back, she wont even see the clothes if that is what you are worried about. Changing your style can often be uncomfortable internally but you get used to a new style. I used to wear nothing, and I mean nothing, other than black and white clothes....that's it. I have recently started wearing different colors and I kind of dig it. I think if you want to change, you should change for yourself, be true to yourself. Trust me, she will see that...and definately notice that you are willing to look a bit different and comfortable doing it. It shows confidence in yourself and shows that you are such that you can wear whatever you feel like and rock it. Good luck with her man, I hope it works out cause you must like her if its something you are thinking about. But most of all, just be yourself, and be it well. Cheers and Merry Christmas :) I hope you get the girl :)

sounds like you're ready for a change with or without a girl in the picture, then by all means yes. Just be sure it's you and not her, cause starting new things by becoming someone you're not won't last, the later the disappointment comes, the worse.

It ok to change if you want to. I see why you would... seems that isn't really in style as much as it once was, like 6 years ago!!! You should def try to find your own style, if you feel the other isn't you, but don't just do it for her. Don't change everything about u for a girl, do it for yourself... it that is what YOU want

Life is a process of elimination. We try different things that we feel represent who we are, and when something we do (or wear) doesn't seem to represent us anymore, we change it. We go through phases... adopt new truths... it's normal. Our outward expression is a reflection of who we feel we are, or who we aspire to be. So in a nutshell, no. No I don't think thats bad at all. I think it's just a normal desire to change and grow as a person. Your just... growing up is all.

that's so cute. i think it's okay if the change is primarily for personal reasons. ask yourself if you'd change even if you didn't know this girl. if the answer is yes, then you may want to change. a change of style isn't going to change who you are and most people go through several fashion phases in life. and good luck with your lady.

First, if you want to change for you, then go for it. If your only changing for her, i say don't do it. I think that dressing a lil more like a gentleman wouldn't hurt, but don't do a 360. Wear a lil of both and see what happens...

you don't need to change yourself if she likes you she will let certain stuff go, but hey if you want to change for yourself and think that the change might aid in the end more power to you, because no matter what you are the only one who has to like you.

change because you want to change for yourself..if you're doing it to get her attention then..yes..it's not a good idea and the change won't last long..be yourself and tone it down the best you can with looking like a thug...it's not very becoming...and like I tell my son...treat any girl,woman..like a lady..always respect...you'll catch her eye...change needs to come from within...change includes all aspects of our life...good luck :)

nope, i would reccomend changing, the THUG look isnt realistic, like you cant live your whole life like that. plus it makes you look more reasonable and respectable to give up a genre of clothing, and just wear nice clothes,
