I'm bored. I like the spirit that coincides with Christmas and Christmas alone, cause let's face it; Hanukkah is boring as hell. All of my friends will be opening gifts in several hours in what is bound to be a heart-warming holiday with their families. They'll spend the day watching Ralphie attempt to get his air-gun, looking for batteries for their new gifts, and drinking that disgusting eggnog. I need to do shopping but everything will be closed..and I can't think of anything to do but get fat in front of the TV watching Season 2 of Lost. Any suggestions? I can only entertain people's questions on this site for so long..

If you were a Jew, you wouldn't have proffered such a question.

Rejoice in Hanukkah.

Stay far from Christmas. Scripture says we should NOT follow a multitude to do evil. Research Christmas and you will see this is one evil day. Google Winter Solstice. You will see its just cleverly disguised Baal worship.

Many ski hills are open here...you can volunteer to work if you work at a place thats open, casinos are open, movies are open. Chinese restaurants are open. The arms of Mashiyach are open.

My religon is undecided, but my family kinda celebrates Christmas in a way, but they always give me money, no presents. Usually we don't have a nice family dinner either. They're also lots of jewish people near my community, and I have quite of few jewish friends. They usually get together, and have a good ol' snowball fight. Or they just play video games.

Also, go for a walk, religions aren't borders, they're paintings from another perspective!

I know how you feel.
I feel compelled to eat today but when everything
opens I'm going straight out to exercise at the gym.
Is shopping at the boxing day sales exercise?
I'd feel silly going for a walk today.

It's not all bad. My son gets heaps of presents.
This year he got $10,000 from his dad.

Celebrate! Enjoy who you are and what you are, every moment of your day, every day. Each instant is special, unique and wonderful, no matter how 'boring', and will never ever be repeated, as long as the universe and time exist.

Become a religous whore. Celebrate every major holiday that is related to every religion.

Do remember, celebrations near late December were started by pagans, Christmas was plonked there, causing the pagan holiday to become superfluous.

Go to the local Chinese restaurant and ask if they'll sing you Christmas Carols.

People question what was Jesus? The bible states he was a Jew. As bored as you might be...you have been born from a long liniage of Jesus Christ himself. No matter what you do this Christmas, remeber that you blood is the same that flowed in Jesus.

Study your Bible, it is a life time study. Also pray, True Christians are never bored because They have a personal relationship with God through His Son Yeshua Ha'Mashach.

YHWH be with you,
