It can be considered normal if your body is catching up on some sleep. Have you been getting less than 8 hours of sleep this past week? If you have been getting enough sleep, then it is probably something you may want to ask the doctor about.

to get your sleep back on track, do a long work out at night, then take a warm shower. you should be tired. if you want, take some tylenol pm/nyquil/benedryl before bed (just one, for God's sake dont take all three). those medicines will usually knock you out.
also keep going to bed at the same time each night
try listening ot music as you sleep. relaxing music though, hard rock will keep you awake.

You are doing fine. We all need what we need. Try earphones that you can sleep in or a tiny radio bedside.
