No I have better things to do right now. The last time I had a girlfriend during the holidays who was around she demanded all my free time tried to keep me from friends parties and royally sucked as a party pooper and holiday humbug. Now I see everyone I want, enjoy the season, and enjoy my free time. And since I do date if there was someone on my list to date, christmas is a perfect date time.

Nope - I'd rather be single then be with someone who doesn't treat me fully the way I deserve to be treated. So in that case I'd rather be single.
I think it's always best to channel love energy into something else when it can't be expressed the way you want to express it. For me - this is giving time and money to charitable causes. Especially if it involves contact with other people (like giving gifts to children). It is very fulfilling to show love in this way. Love is limitless, so it's great to not hold onto it while you are waiting for someone special to come into your life - remembering that you are also someone special that will be coming into someone else's life.
Try to spend time with family or friends during the holidays.
Happy Holidays to you!

Holidays are a time for love and laughter, and as long as you have someone to love, be it friends or family or a significant other, I think it shouldn't really matter. What sucks is to be single during Valentine's Day and eating dinner by yourself in an exclusive restaurant...

Nope, not at all.
Didn't have to spend exorbitant amounts of money for a gift to prove I'm a good boyfriend or husband.
Didn't have to drive hundreds of miles to spend the holiday with a girlfriend's family instead of my own.

I was. My husband and separated just after last Christmas so it is rough. I got busy trying to help others have a better Christmas and that helped me tremendously. I hope your day when the sun comes up is much better for you. Merry Christmas. Just remember our special gift from God. This has got to help anyone feel better!

it actually depends on how you want to be. if you want to be happy, then you will work towards that. as for me, i d rather be alone and at peace and wiht a smile on my face than have someone in my life who will hurt me, make me miserable and i will have to take all that nonsense coz i want to have that person around me..... well.........
i think the most important thing is to be at peace and have a genuine smile on my face..... specially at the time of festivals and important days of my life.
having someone in our lives would be good only if that person really loves and cares but if the relationship does not give happiness, peace, love and warmth, its better to be single...... atleast then your happiness and sadness depends upon you and not on someone who is not even bothered about you.
So............ be happy.......... believe in yourself........... trust yourself......... love yourself............ take care and enjoy the festive season..........
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!!
