I am a 12 year old boy only 4'7 (just got a physical last week) and weigh 70 lbs. I drink 4-7 BIG cups of 2% organic milk every day because milk is my favorite drink because I hate soda. My mom is 5'6 and my dad is 5'11 and my grandma (my mom's side) is 5'9 (pretty tall). Any ideas on why I am so short?

IMO judging by this I say you can be anywhere between 5,8-6,1.
You will grow I PROMISE you.

It could be that your bone age is younger than your real age, which means that you will catch up as soon as your bones mature, usually sometime before 17th birthday.
It also could be deficiency in growth hormone production.
Both conditions could be checked out by child endocrinologist.
I would suggest you consult a specialist anyway, just to make sure there is no underlying condition that hinders your growth.

dont curse yourself ,u r 12 , it may be possible that ur height may increase by more than a foot just eat and exercise properly

It is probably your genetics you can get them from any relative you know like you dads father for instance if he was short you might get that from him. You will probably grow taller as you get older no one stops growing when they are twelve.

dont worry u still have time to grow. maybe it's still nt the right time yet. try playing basketball , it keeps u fit and can make u tall
