If you are on heavy duty painkillers, it would be best if you stayed away from the booze. You really don't want to go to sleep and not wake up, or do you?

If you aren't on painkillers, help yourself, but don't drink enough to get foolish. You are liable to fall on your face or break your other foot.

Merry Christmas.

Depends on if you were placed on any medication restricting the consumption of alcohol if restricted, than no. If not than you really need to ask yourself...was I drunk when I broke it the first time and if I drink am I likely to break it again or break the other one.

I would not reccomend the consumption of alcohol while tring to heal from such a serious injury as your blood really takes a beeting from drinking and you need healthy blood to allow the wounds to heal strong.

I wouldn't see a reason why not. As long as you already have a cast and/or have seen a doctor. The only exception would be if you are talking pain meds even aspirin. Alcohol and Meds are one of the deadliest combinations of drugs.

If you are on pain medications I wouldn't suggest it, and I also wouldn't suggest it if you are one of those people who have to move around after they get a few drinks in them. If you aren't on pain or other meds and you keep off your foot i don't see why you can't unless your doc said not to.

I think you're okay, unless you're taking pain meds. Alcohol does raise your blood pressure, though, which could make your pain level go up, as well.

Of course. When I broke my leg I drank every day for months. It enhances the pain meds.

No you should'nt and you should'nt smoke either because it slows down the process of bone regeneration and growth that you need for your body to do the repaire, I advise that you dont drink, but if you do do it moderately.

sure you can just make sure you don't get hammered and break something else, Most of my friends who have broken bones have done so after or during an encounter with too much booze. a broken leg makes it more likely that you will further injure yourself
