im telling myself not to be clingy, and to fall for him slowly.

we hung out a couple times recently, though ive known him for about 3 years.

a couple days ago we went to my friends birthday where he knew no one. He acted as if we were in a relationship, with his arm around my shoulder and everything.

however i ask him whatsup with that and hes like "i do this to everyone"

i call him up today and ask if he wants to hang outand hes like okay...

i ask him about new years eve and hes like i dont know yet.

Im 17 and never was in a real relationship. he's 19, a guy of many words and not so much action. had 1-2 real relationships.

my friend says even if we hit it out he's going to still be the flirty self he is

how do i hit it out.. and how do i know if i have his heart?

you'll know he's into you when he kisses you. you'll know you have his heart when he proposes--- sounds like your falling too hard by saying have his heart. go waaaay slower.

he WILL be flirty even if you date, ask yourself if you can handle that before you think on him further.

he said he does this to everyone-- believe him, don't think it means anything.

new years is a big night, he'll want to spend it with family or friends or a girl he likes. he's waiting to see what his options are. if he liked you he'll ask you to join him if it's a friend party. but he didn't, so either it's a family party or you're not his 1st option. don't think on him if you're not his first option.

you hit it out by asking him if he likes you, telling him it's okay to kiss you if he likes you, telling him you like him and seeing his reaction, or by kissing him. be direct, since he talks well it should be easy.

Based on his age, he will change his mind many times before he becomes definitive who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. As blunt as that may sound, that is reality. In the meantime, playing the field until he's exhausted all options is the natural state of progression. He may exhibit gestures of affection at first but his roaming eye interprets a different message. Putting your heart out on your sleeves will have dire consequences. At the moment, establishing a convivial friendship is safe and healthier.

He hasn't said he wants you, he hasn't acted like he wants you (which he says he treats every one the same way). If he really treats everyone this way (you say you've known him for 3 years), then I wouldn't read that much into what he's doing. Just because he doesn't have a serious girlfriend right now doesn't mean he's looking, and so far, everything has been your doing. Wait until he does something that says otherwise.

If you had his heart he wouldn't be running hot and cold all the time. You wouldn't have to call him to hang out, he wouldn't be able to stay away from you. Drop this guy and find one who really wants a true relationship. You deserve it.

Drop this guy, he's not for you. You're 17, you still a lot of opportunities in the future.

He's a flirt... just play it cool. hang out with him more, if he likes you, you will see a change in him. he probably does this to alot of women and he playin the field... he wants to see what is out there. if you are what he wants he will go after you like nobody else exsists.

surely where ever his heart is then he will be. to get a man's heart is complicated, but not impossible. how do you? his actions tell you. or ask yourself how does a person gets your heart? look for the signs
