when i minimise (restore down) my pc screen it shrinks to approx?

30 millimetres high, it used to only minimise to half screen. when i maximise it is normal, how do i get it back to normal?

You can manually adjust the size of your window by placing it at the corner or on the bottom or sides (until you see arrows) [only when it is in the "regular sized" window- meaning, not minimized like a tab, or maximized to the full size of your monitor screen]
