Does this mean I will be an Alcoholic?

Okay, so this is my problem. Yesterday, my brother went to the store, and got some beer and cheap champagne. He let me have a little of the champagne. When I tasted it, for a moment I to just continue drinking more and more of it. Luckily, the moment passed after a while. So does this mean I will be an Alcoholic when I grow up?

Maybe and maybe not. But it is very good you recognize that it may be a potential problem. And I can say that an alcoholic is so unhappy and is alcohol is destructive to the drinker and the families. Good luck and God Bless.

Thats if you continue drinking, there is no requirement saying that you must drink when you hit 21. It's all about self control, wait until you start drinking other things, it may have just been some good champagne, so only time will tell.

If drinking does not cause any major life or health problems then you are not an alcoholic. If you simply want to drink then there is nothing wrong with that, but if you know that becoming drunk will cause a problem and you continue to anyway then you need to look at yourself. Bottoms up!

This absolutely does NOT mean you will be an alcoholic later on. There are a whole set of symptoms/behaviors that indicate alcoholism, and
just this one exposure means nothing!
