I really wanna stop wearing those because I am getting to clinging over them. Everyday I would always put my moisturizer than my powder on, I feel bad that I'm not comfortable with my own skin and I feel so self conscious without my make up, usually in public. I don't like my tiny black head's I hate my dark circles and my skin looks plain. I have the fear of getting bad condition of my skin care over putting to much make up everyday...which will effect when I'm older.
Help?!

try using Proactive or St Ives Apricot Scrub or B'Ore strips (for blackheads) or something like that. If you naturally clear and exfoliate your skin, you won't have blemishes/flaws to cover up with makeup (which can actually clog your pores and cause blemishes). As for dark circles, try getting more sleep, if possible. And drinking plenty water should give you healthy, glowing skin.

Buy a bottle of Witch Hazel from the pharmacy, dollar store and some cotton balls. Clean every night and morning with it. It is a natural PH balancer and astringent for oily and dry skin. This is every day for life and it's cheap. Then take a pot of water boiling it with a lid. Sit it on something sturdy on the table and use a towel to make a tent over your head, remove the lid, don't burn your face but allow the hot steam heat your face as much as you can until it stops steaming, let the water drip from your face. This will open the pores and clean them. You then need to dry your face, pat don't ever rub your face or hair always pat dry or pat to wash your face too. You then need to splash face with cool water to close the pores. Do this on weekends until your skin looks good along with the witch hazel. You can stop the steam once the blackheads have cleared up and do it less often. Keep your hands away from your face unless you have washed in warm soapy water for at least two minutes to stop bacteria. Anytime you run or do anything that causes your face to sweat clean with witch hazel. If you need a light cover, buy some tinted moisture and use that. Also always wear sunscreen, it will protect your face better than any makeup. Use a little eyeshadow and some lip gloss and a little pink on your cheeks from an old lipstick and you will look great and feel really clean. Good luck baby girl.

You are too clingy for foundations and powders...but what teenage girl isn't? In fact, what woman who wears makeup does not use foundations/powders nearly every day? I would say pretty much all. Foundations/powders are generally OK for your skin and come with moisturizers in them. As long as you wash your face well in the morning before applying makeup and most importantly wash your face/take off the makeup every night before you go to bed...you have nothing to worry about. Use a good cleanser, astringent or cleansing pads, and moisturizer both in the mornings and at night. Use makeup remover to help take off the mascara and other hard to remove eye makeup if necessary. In the mornings make sure you apply a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15 to help prevent sun damage during the day can that be harmful to your skin (and ages your skin). Everyday, no matter the weather. I prefer a light lotion in the morning and a thicker moisturizer at night to help replenish my skin. Use a thick moisturizer under your eyes too and this will help clear up circles and puffiness. Either way, wearing makeup everyday (including foundations and powders) is perfectly fine as long as you keep your face clean and taken care of. You do not need to worry about any effects when you are older as long as you wash your face in a manner like I have described above. I also like to use a good mask weekly, to twice a week if you desire. Clay masks are excellent, and the peel off ones are ok too if you don't mind the slight discomfort from peeling the mask off. Really, any mask that you prefer would be fine...and it really soothes and refreshes the skin leaving it softer than ever. Again don't concentrate on the makeup side so much, concentrate on cleaning, moisturizing, and pampering your skin instead. That's all you need to keep your skin young and healthy as you age. One more thing...don't forget to moisturize your neck as well. It will help to keep your neck looking firm and young too. Best of luck!

Try some mineral powder - it's very light, doesn't feel like makeup but still covers pretty well...I use it all the time now. The Bare Escentuals (Bare Minerals) brand is great, but expensive. You can get mineral powder at pretty much any grocery store or pharmacy.

i had the same problem. i felt so uncomfortable, and i hate dark circles under my eyes, and little black heads.
so i used just a tiny bit of powder every day, and it cleared up a whole lot. i barely have to use makeup any more to hide stupid acne.

you know, i had the same problem, but as i got older i realized that it was just causing pimples and making my skin worse. instead i use babypowder. i know it souns weird but i first use a lotion/mouiturizer on my face and then dab some babypowder on. it gets rid of shiny skin, oily skin, dark spots, pimple scars, etc.
hope this helped!
