Older engine parts become scratched, pitted, work hardened and weakened. This is on top of the imperfections of the parts that were built into the parts.
NOS will find the deformities on your piston rods or other places. It will do so by ripping them in half. At minimum, the engine needs to be rebuilt with stronger rods and new bearings. The valve train will at least need to be inspected. New head gaskets are a must if they are still original else you will probably blow them out.
If your clutch is worn out, NOS won't do you any good. It will be Spin City without Michael J. Fox.. If you have an auto, your transmission will probably be going to heaven soon. If any of the other parts on the drive train or suspension are in questionable shape, you'll find out.
In other words, putting your car on NOS is like a grandpa smoking crack then running a mile.

If anything is setup wrong, it will blow your engine. If you want to get NOS, you will need to find a professional to install it. The local mechanic will not be able to do it the right way. The right amount of Nitrous must be sent to the engine. If too much is sent or too little, the engine will blow. The wires also need to be setup the right way. If you have the setup right, thn your engine won't blow, but it will die faster at a low mileage. NOS shortens the life of the engine everytime you use it. NOS is illegal in all 50 states, unless you use it on a race track.

nos is not a good idea for any street car it will soften the motor and the heads and it will cause you to have to rebuild the motor often we have been racing cars for years and growing up in the motorcity you learn things.my son tried nos in his honda and had to rebuild his motor 3 times in 3 months
try just changing out the ecu chip first.

20 year old motors with high miles like to be left alone. Throw about a 50 shot on it a few times and you will be pulling the motor to rebuild it. Or worse KABOOM!

yes absolutely.. when you use nos the engine has to be rebuilt to handle the pressure..don't try it unless you want to blow it.. invest your money and daytrade.. it is a much better investment..
