Women: do you want your partner to tell you if you are putting on weight?

Answer to janicajayne: Yes, I would want her to tell me. I want honesty and intimacy in a relationship.

More info: The only time I have ever said something like this was to my sister, who got very angry -- but several weeks later she thanked me and said she felt I was the only one who loved her enough to tell her the truth.

First of all If it's a lot of weight than yes I would, if I notice than no, Don't lie unless you know she won't get overly mad...and I would rather just pretend not to notice until I do!

Hell no you should tell a woman when she's putting on weight. She probably already knows. If she asks, tell her that shes beautiful the way that she is.

I wouln'd cause that would show that the guy is extremely shallow. That he only cares about your physical appearance. It also depends on how he tells me. I wouldn't want the guy to lie to me either.

I think every women knows when they are putting on weight. Me personally would prefer that you not say something about it.

I am a blunt person so i go with the do unto others thing. He should be telling me cuse I would tell him. I like to be fit and he should want to be as well. And plus if you dont wat to hear it (the female/male) asking they should not ask at all.

i would kill anyone who told me i was gaining weight.. that is really rude... if it is noticable im sure she is either dealing with it or she doesnt care.
