My mom is 49 years old heavy chain-smoking woman.She is on her 4 packs a day habit and increasing it very much. She is inhaling smoke very deeply and says that she needs much smoke to feel ok. I noticed that she often feels dizzy and constantly out of breath, but she says she is fine. She can't control herself at night she wakes up and smokes two or three cigarettes at once and
really deep inhales a lot of smoke. I don't know what's wrong with her. Is she a chain smoker?

well the defining feature of a "chain" smoker is that an almost burnt out cigarette is used to light a new one. so if your mom does that, then yes. otherwise she's just a chimney and should really get some help before she ends up in a hospital.

That's a lot of cigarettes, 80! I have never seen anyone smoke like that! To answer your question, yes that is indeed a chainsmoker!

yea I think life will be cut a little short for her. I myself smoke, a pack a day , and thats too much but I can not imagine what my lungs would feel like at 4 omg, don't think I would have much wind in me to even talk lol.

That is a lot cigarettes to smoke in one day. Try lowering would be better.

yes. becareful not to inhale too much of the fumes (victim of second-hand)...i herd its worst then an actual smoker themself.
