I have a HP Photosmart C4280 scanner/copier/printer All-in-One, and the scanner is terrible! The printer and copier is good, but I need a scanner.

I'm not looking for all-in-ones... just a scanner. I have a HP laptop, and I need suggestions badly. I'm not a millionare, so please don't suggest expensive ones.

Please leave a link (if there is one) with your suggestion.

Thank you.

I recommend you to Go for HP G4050 scanner, if you can afford. Alternatively check the G3010 and G4010 scanner, they are most powerful home based scanners.

Check the below weblink to compare them.

Thanks!!

I have a Canon all-in-one and an HP. Both are pretty good with scanning. Have you experimented with the settings or tried to contact their help and support? Both are also good with support.

With that said - just in case - I kept my old Visioneer scanner.

I buy quite a bit from Amazon and am satisfied with my purchases.

If the copier works fine then whats wrong with the scanner its uses the same circuitry. reinstall the scanner software. Scanning at high resolution will slow things down. So a little more info please?
