I looked up anorexia and looked at all the symptoms. And I had every single symptom. Or I could relate enormously to them. I never want to eat anything, and have been told that you dont have to be sickly skinny to be anorexic. My friends and teachers are always telling me to eat. And I really do hate how I look, and I think I'm fat. I dont know if I have a problem or not.

I also have lost about 20llbs in the past three months. My mom and boyfriend have noticed a big change because Ive lost the weight. But that could also be because I was doing alot of cocaine, and lost my appetite that way as well...

i have a friend who's 5'7" and she's like 125, but she's not anorexic... i don't think you are. if you don't want to eat, or just aren't hungry, then that's alright! listen to your body! =] and btw... about 99.9% of all girls think that they are fat... so you aren't alone.

Do you avoid eating? Do you severely restrict calories? Just because you relate to the feelings an anorexic person may have, doesn't mean you are. It's about actions. You may have poor body image but it only becomes anorexia by actions derived from a mental issue. Does that make sense?

Well, most ppl that are anorexic, choose it for many reasons. Maybe choose is not the right word... They want to be so that they can control something in their life (they have to have control over something) Do you feel that need? Talk to your parents and tell them your concern.. or a teacher that you trust if your parents aren't it. Maybe you can see a counceler before it gets too bad. Sorry about the spelling I don't have spell check on this comp and I'm horrible with spelling!! Good luck either way, and please choose to do the healthy thing.

I think you have a very distorted view of yourself and your weight.
5' 6" and 130lb will put you right in the middle of good weight/height ratio, according to the government (CDC). Your weight is perhaps the best anyone could ever achieve. How can it be any better than right in the middle of ideal ratio?
Yes, you have a problem - not the physical one, but the psychological one.

I suppose you could use some more nourishment, but you could have a fast metabolism.
I have a friend whos 5' 4" and 92 pounds.
I do recommend eating more though.

You probably have a sickness, that is what anorexia is considered. You should see a doctor before you become so thin that its noticeable even to people who don't know you.

i don't know but you might. #1 stop thinking about your weight. #2 get rid of any full length mirrors or scales. #3 eat three meals a day or even four if it's only small meals.

Every woman thinks there fat and ugly. your height and weight, I wouldn't say your anorexic, but It could all just be in your head. Probably is. Be confident of yourself and be happy with who you are.
