Body language is big... always jockeying for position to be close to you, or be in view of and by you.
Doesn't matter the age on this one... a male will always try to be close to the one he likes because of territory.

well some guys are just open about it and flirt with ya (i think its fun lol) but then there are others who would do anything to keep you from finding out and instead just try to casually talk to ya as much as possible. then ya got the really shy ones who wont say a thing to ya. prolly the best way to find out is to ask the guys friends if he talks about u or what he thinks about you. the only downside with that is that they may go back and tell him that u asked so word it in a way so that they dont get suspicious. merry christmas and good luck

for me, i always wanna be around her. if a guy is around you more than he is with his other "lady" friends. if he stops what he is doing in the middle of it to help you. there is a certain look that i personally give, and i think that all guys have one too, and trust me, you will just know, or so im told by the girls i give it to...haha...just relax. even if you misjudge the "signs" and he doesnt in fact like you, you are exactly where you are now, without him. so, if you like him, pursue it, and do so with no worries.

He smiles shyly
He seems kinda shy around you
Or the other kind:

They make fun of you with their friends

HAhahaaha, you will know! If you have to ask yourself if a guy likes you then he probly does not, but if you notice things that a guy does for you that is out of the ordinary then he likes you! :D

I think a lot of looking and hanging around is one sign. Another sign is if they go out of their way to do things for you. That could be a hint.

Even when they're talking to someone, their body is pointed to you. They blush when you're close. They stutter and stammer. They might act jerky or make you jealous.
