We want to get matchin tattoos of something but we dont know what. Nothing to manly but nothing girly for him. We thought about a chinese symbol for love but when i look it up i find like 5 symbols that mean love so i'm not sure which one is correct. Do you have any other ideas on tattoos?

And like I said its me and my [[ husband ]] so dont leave any dumb answers about us not gettin one. We are already married, and are spending the rest of our lives together. So if you have a rude comment then dont even bother.

I think it's sweet. Think outside the box though! Everyone (and their mother) has a Chinese symbol somewhere, and nowadays it is very common to see people with the wrong word tattooed on them. Imagine getting "love" and then realizing 4 years later you have "supermarket" written on you instead! Awkward!
Think of something original that the two of you share. Maybe your wedding date. Or maybe you guys married in a tropical location, you could get palm trees. Maybe you both love the color blue, you could get totally different tattoos, but in the same color. Just think of something that maybe at first glance isn't obvious, but that is special and unique to the two of you.

Think of an interest that the two of you share and get an image to represent it. If you two just don't have anything like that, find something to represent each of you that will sort of mesh.
For example: my fiance and I got matching black bats on our opposite wrists. We both love the bat as a symbol of our fashion interests. It matches the two of us without being too girly or manly.
If you really can't agree on a picture, you can always get the same image but in a different style. Yours could be more feminine, his more manly but putting them in the same location and having the same subject would make them consistent.

Why not? Thats cool! Itssmarter then putting yourname on each other and its a connection between you too. Ibelieve iof someone in your life made a lot and played a big part in your life then go for it. A tat of a chinese symbol is perfect! Even if your not together forver you cant help it, you both palyed a big part in each others lives.

I've suggested this with my husband. We have yet to think of what yet though. Do you have any kids? If you did you could both get maybe your kids name somewhere. I know a couple who have their childs newborn footprint on their legs. If not maybe even a family pet or something similar. Even if we are married I would never get our names. maybe get more info on your love symbol because that seems simple and if you suggested it you already like it. You could look into some others like honesty, faith, or something to that degree.
