I am a person of Faith and I would never do that. In fact, I don't know any Faith based people who would!

But to answer your question, if ANYONE were to make scientific research illegal, the human race would suffer. In my opinion, we need science for many, many reasons!! ... Blessings!

Those of us who are faith-based do not wish to make scientific research illegal. We do, however, want it to be kept ethical.
It would be nice if science was approached through the Bible. I believe if scientific research was done with a Biblical perspective there would be greater strides in science because of the truths found in the Bible. Research done to disprove the Bible has only serves to strengthen its claims and historical significance. I fully believe we would discover more of how the world is if we looked at it through the eyes of the Creator.

We wouldn't do that. Scientific reasearch has helped so many people. You have the wrong idea about real Christians. You can still beleive in science and in God. We are not idiots. Bless you.

Atheists are faith based. They didn't need any science to prove themselves right about what they believe. So are you willing to include Atheism, who is more guilty of it than Christianity? I think that the Muslims have a corner on trash science, but I guess they are left out of the argument. ( As in: we understand, guys. It's okay. )

First of all, I have no interest in doing this, as my own family could benefit.........

But in the unlikely event of this happening, we would merely cease to learn..........we would not lose the knowledge that we have gained.

this "faith based" person is an organ donor, and I have written and verbal instructions for my family to give my body to science. It would please me, if my body unlocked the key to say , breast cancer, forever freeing my daughters of the fear.........

Do you mean like Sir Isac Newton? He was a Christian, as were most of the great scientists. Quit asking dumb questions.

It would not take long to return to the Dark Ages, when life was nasty, brutal, and short.
