Religious wackos seeking assylum, who come here and then speak against our President(like him or not, he is our President)and our Government? I strongly resent this and think we are being fools for putting up with it. I really don't understand it. We are playing host to those who would like to destroy us.

rhsaunde - My ancestors came here legally and never once paraded up and down our streets speaking against our President or Government. Get off that mandra. It is worn out.

You hit the nail right on the head! This country is WAY too tolerant of religious crackheads that want to blow up buildings and illegals coming to this country, forcing us to change our way of life here to accomodate them! It's pathetic! No thanks to the good ol' 'American Welcoming Committee' - the liberals, terrorists and those taking advantage of our legal system at the expense of the taxpayer, it's only going to get worse - not better.

We Americans have to go through nine yards of red tape to get any kind of medical, legal, food or schooling assistance, but the illegals get it all for free - handed to them on a silver platter with NO questions asked! Our government continues to turn its back on its own people so that they can 'impress' their 'foreign buddies' how gracious we are to THEIR people, while at the same time, telling Americans that they have to go cross a ten-mile river riddled with leeches to get what assistance we need!

I don't agree with everything Bush has done or said, but the constant verbal abuse is sickening and tiring. Those that speak against him just merely think that they can do a better or perfect job. Truth is, those that parade up and down the streets, protesting this and that are just merely making spectacles of themselves - trying to bring back the '60s, not to mention it's the liberals who have used their 'brainwashing machine' (the media) to gain voters and increase poll numbers - that's all they're concerned with! Anyway, as for being president, people don't realize that being the prez of the USA is a very burdensome job! It's a huge responsibility and, NO matter what decisions you make on whatever issue, you're NOT going to please everyone. There will be some for you and some against you! It's a fact; with every president this country has had from day one, not everyone has been for the decisions and not everyone has been against them.

Like him or not, he is our President....

And if the congress would wise up, he could easily be out.

I was born and raised here and I know some illegals and none of them speak out against the government. Many keep quite as not to attract attention to them.

You are a fool for generalizing and assuming ever immigrant or religious person speaks out against the government.

Without illegal immigrants the US would grind to a halt.
They do the crappy jobs and keep wages down.
Immigrants generally are welcomed because they are often more successful individuals than home grown Americans.
There is a definitely problem in the UK and France.
By allowing much freedom and opportunity the US hopefully avoids anger and unrest among the immigrants.

You could put your fear of terror into perspective by considering how people die in America. It's not old age.

If we had options for good people to come here and work legally, there would be no illegals.

We should be smart enough to recognize that immigrants (both legal and illegal) are an extremely important component of our future if we want to continue being the richest nation in the world.

Legalization for all!

I agree that if they don't like the system, why stay here, especially if they benefit from public assistance. However, I think that anyone who lives and works here and thus pays taxes, is entitled to criticize our government.

We need to remember that many of these people consider the southwest US to be theirs by virtue of having been taken from Mexico by the US by force/war. They have a legitimate point, even if the legalities don't support their position.

Nothing has been done about illegal immigration because of the plan for a north american union. (The United States will be merged with Canada and Mexico). There is documentation of this at:

The illegal immigrants probably harvested the food that you ate for dinner. The vast majority of those people come to the US for the same reason that your ancestors did: they want to earn a better life for their own kids. Which makes perfect sense to me.

I guess that's what they mean by too much of a good thing. I don't think any one understands how much it would improve our economy just to smile and nod when it comes to the president.

I think that you have a bias perspective, if you were someone seeking a new home you might see things very differently. USA is not tolerant at all of illegal immigrants, it's just difficult to prevent.
