How can god promise a people land when god is not a rasist is he? He can not show favoritism can he? If so he is not so good a god then in my eyes.

The sad truth is that some people are so arrogant that they THINK they are "God's chosen people" and that god gave them a special place that was "all theirs". Some of us can see it for what it is---an excuse to drive out the indiginous people (in this case, the Palestinians.)
I sure would like to take a Bible and thump it upside of few peoples' heads---maybe it'd knock some sense into 'em. How anybody can base such premises as "God gave that land to us!" on a book of fairy tales is beyond me. It'd actually be funny if it wasn't so dangerous and racist.
Edit to Shay: Bite me, Pal. I REGULARLY "pick on" Christians----at least the Zionist ones. They're no better than you.

With all this crap going on I'm sure many Israelis would be happy if for a little time he chose someone else.

Many times throughout the Bible, God declares His "Chosen People", the Jews. This has caused much strife for the Jewish people throughout the world and in the land of Israel. They are continually under attack.
Many Churches today teach Replacement Theology, replacing the Jews with Christians.

The concept of "chosen people" is widely misunderstood. It doesn't mean we are superior to anyone else. All are equal.
Israel is a democratic state, and not all its citizens are Jewish. If you do not accept biblical arguments for a Jewish homeland, you nevertheless cannot deny that the country has been established by law.

God gave every body land. No he is not a real estate broker, but he is the creator of all things. Everybody got a share, but for those that obeyed and followed his ways, of course they are going to get the best land. One has to add, that at this point and time; there was not only good people but bad as well now. Those that got greedy got greedy and wanted everything, but GOD had good righteous plans for those that chose HIM. Have you ever heard the saying if you put a good apple in a basket of rotten apples, what would happen to that good apple. It would become rotten. So HE knew this and HIS follows ask HIM for help and HE guided them to HIS special place for them. Good land, the promised land. On this journey some were tempted and had doubts because it was taking GOD long to get them to this promised land. God had his purposes. We all get tested in life, to see if we really believe and have faith. And no, this is not being mean. If you have this wonderful place would you just let anybody in. Of course not. It' like your own home now, you wouldn't just let anybody in that may destroy it or hurt it right? Right! At first the chosen people were the Jews, but some thought with that attitude of being better than the others. So GOD seen that even people that were not of that descent, obeyed as well and wanted to follow HIS ways. This is where the gentile people come in to play. All that want to follow and obey GODS way have an opportunity today as it started back then. GOD is not a rasist, because if HE only prefered one race or color. Then all of us would be the same, but we are not. You have to remember that at one point or another all of us spoke the same language and we were tryin to create a tower that would lead to the sky because they wanted to reach GOD. GOD stroked them and their tower down because HE knew that if they went any higher they would have not been able to breath. So for this tower thing not to happen again while in the process of being striken down GOD changed thier language so that they would not understand eachother to build this tower to the sky. So since people didn't understand eachother, those that did were not enough to build the tower on their own. With out the help of the others they had no choice but to abanden their little project. So all went on their way not knowing what really happened or why. So people went on to different parts of the world and of course in doing so. One place being hotter and another colder, this is where one gets different colors. This is how the masses or races came to be. And back then, GOD was still in play in speaking to a certain few that really listened when HE spoke; And who was there guide? Moses! Right? Right! Since Moses was one of those with his little doubt he could not enter the land that GOD promised HIS people. All people of all types, some jews, some gentiles. If you have children and you give them the best that you can offer, but some don't want to follow your orders or your ways what would you do. One would punish or repremand them correct. You might LOVE them all but they also have to earn it right. Or do you raise your child to think that things in life are free and to just be taken just like that. No you don't. One teaches them to understand, be fair, obediant; you know where I'm going with this. One would try to help them find the way and if they don't then you can't blame your self becaus eyou taught the best way you knew how. The a thief get a free get out of jail card? NO. He has to earn it, some people perpatrate though. They come disguised as sheep but really are wolf inside. One just don't say they have changed, they live it. They act on this way of a good life with morals, and values towards life and others. They treat others as they want to be treated. I could probably keep on, but I'm tired. I hope this answers what ever thought or doubts you may have in your mind. Some of us have been misguided for so long by the misguided themself. That we seek truth and peace in our lives and ubderstanding. Some find this to hard and give up before they even begin. GOOD NIGHT ALL.
