Why do some men & women not wear underwear?
What do you think about men or women not wearing underwear?

Do they stain or ruin their clothing?

Do they leave germs or stains on public seating?

What about skid marks?

Some people find it comfortable. I'm just the opposite; I like to hang out at home in just my underwear at home, but I never, ever go without a slip, that comes off last when I step into the shower and gets pulled on as soon as I've dried off. But to each their own...

I don't really think it's an etiquette issue since people are still wearing their outer clothing -I guess they'd have to wash that more often but hey, that's their problem... anything that wouldn't be as bad as to seep through underwear wouldn't seep through the (usual heavier) outer clothes either, so no, they wouldn't leave more germs or stains. Only when they're wearing such short skirts that people can peek would it be bad etiquette, but then again, it's not good etiquette to wear anything that shows your underwear either ;-)

I sometimes go without underwear because it gives me a feeling of freedom that I enjoy. I might go naked if it was socially acceptable. If it stained or ruined my clothing then I wouldn't do it. If you have outer clothing on then I don't think you will contaminate public seating anymore without underwear than you would with it. As far as skid marks are concerned, I'm very careful about my personal hygiene. I wash up carefully after I have a bowell movement, so therefore I'm no more likely to have skid marks without underwear than I am with underwear. If you leave skid marks in your clothing then I suggest you stick with the underwear, or at least wear dark colored clothing.

I go without underwear when I ride my bike. Because they have badding to protect our groin area and area where we sit to protect our sensitive tissues and nerves. And compression tights have no room for undewear. Pluss they would give anybody a wedgie with underwear.

But the materiel our uniforms are made of are almost see-through if you catch the light just right. But my as is tighted from bike riding. So maybe I WILL lose my boxers! What do you think? Should I post a pick to see if I'm good enough to lose my underwear?

Well, some of my own friends worry about when they are wearing tight clothing, is if underwear lines show on the outside. To some people it is very embarrassing.

I don't know, I couldn't.
Well, maybe at home with sweatpants.
I have a 52yr old coworker who brags about not wearing panties. Her jeans are so tight I don't know how she can stand it.
One would think that after all these years her "privates" would have the texture of canvas.

All I know is that some women don't want panty lines showing especially when they wear white. Personally, I don't feel right without them on.

The good question is how do you know and if some people do so means they believe in the olden days etiquette, who cares.
