depends on the time of day!

3am, everything went wrong from the ran out of gas car, to the waiting at the gas station for your friend to give you a ride cause you didn't want to bother them, and honestly you JUST woke up from the ride in the car and you're really really tired. (go to bed...no eating!)

3pm, you rub your eyes and nose alot and say you think you have allergies.

You need to decide what is most important to you right now. Is it more important that you stay there and have a place to live and a car and not show your parents that you're growing up or is it more important that you talk to them and get your feelings out there on the table. You must be ready to live with the consequences either way. On one hand you may have to get a job and pay your own bills for everything once you hit 18 and deal with their disappointment before then if they react badly to what you have to say. On the other hand you may become depressed and miserable from living under the church's thumb. These are but two outcomes to the many that could happen, but whatever the outcome you must go through with it. You are on the cusp of being an adult and it is this time when the most difficult decisions arise.

People tend to get high/drunk because they like those effects and don't want to act/feel normal (at least for a while).

When drunk or stoned you most likely won't appear normal and any attempt to act "normal" will probably make it more apparent that something about you isn't 'right'.

Your best bet is to lay off the substances, at least until you are grown and out on your own...and know enough about them and their risks so you are accepting any and all risk and possible repercussions knowledgeably when you use them.

The best thing would be not to get high or drunk. I speak from lots and lots of experiance. It will get you nowhere.

If you are high or drunk they are going to know the minute they look at you. You will never fool them.

You can't fool your parents or anyone else when drunk or high

Whatever you do don't concentrate on "acting normal" in that situation, all you'll end up doing is giggling alot. Just play it cool!

apparently, you're not old enough to be drinking... or you wouldn't want to disguise it.

i started drinking when i was a teen, and presently, i'm a recovering alcoholic.

i hope your path isn't the same... it's not pretty.

Don't get drunk, learn how to handle your alcohol and learn your limits.
