I recently bought a Nissan Altima 2005 model and I could not locate the tire pressure label in the owners guide. Would appreciate your note here.

Posted on the drivers door jamb or under the center console lid the sticker says 33 psi. Actually 29 psi to 35 psi depending on conditions how much weight in the car. Also look at page 8-39 to page 8-43 in your owners hand book. Section (9) Just tells you where to look for the tire stickers.

Current trend is to use Nitrogen inside the tires. More dense than regular air so pressures are more stable. But if you check your tires often you will be ok with good old fashioned air. The Tire plackard on the door jamb (some times under the console lid) is cold tire pressure. So add 3 or 4 psi after you drive and the tires warm up. Also there is a owners hand book section 8 page 39 all the way to page 50 continues to tell you about tire grades and DOT numbers and general information about tires. Depending on your car tires size Altima's use 29 to 35 psi cold pressures.

The recommended tire inflation info is usually posted on the inside edge of the driver's door, on a sticker. You do not want to put the tire inflation that is listed on the tire itself, as it is the Max pressures the tires are set by the manufacturer of the tires. Hope this helps.

Open up the lower armrest compartment. The tire pressure ratings should be on a sticker on the bottom of the upper armrest compartment you just flipped up. If there's no sticker there, check for one on the driver side door frame.

Look closely at the tire sidewall, in the print there should be something about maximum pressure (typically 35 lbs), it should say something like "Max Load ____lbs at __psi". Typical inflation is 3 to 5 pounds less than the max. You may also find the sticker listing the pressure inside the door jamb (near the latch).
