It is the word of God and the order of God.
Jesus is to the Father as the church is to Christ.
As the wife is to her husband as the flesh is to the spirit.
The flesh should not have authority over the spirit.

She must have been better than the men pastors to get the job. When the church first started, it was required for the pastor to be a man of one wife who has his household in order. He must also be full of the Holy Spirit. The pastor is to preach in spirit and truth. Now 2000 years later with culture changes and women getting more involved in God's great commission, women are no longer just the silent house wife like they were in the culture of that time. Back then, there probably weren't any women who do to culture weren't qualified. Now they are. Now they are educated and have that same burning desire to answer the call. And I think that God is happy with that. In fact I dont think that it bothers Him one bit as much as it bothers those who want to keep "women in their place". If they think that they can do better then maybe they should answer the call.

So I guess that if a group of women are stranded or prisoners of war they can't have a shepherd amongst them?
Is that really what it's saying?
And isn't this what it actually says?
11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
And didn't Paul himself receive instruction from two women who were daughters and prophetesses?
It sounds not at all like what people are taking it for!

It does not say woman can not be pastors. Woman were not aloud to speak in public, religious meetings were public. So when women got a little freedom, they kind of went haywire and so Paul said he did not allow woman to speak in meetings. Paul did not say it was a command of God.
God be with you,

Well, it is true. God doesn't accept women pastors. I also don't think He cares if it seems sexist....it is there for a good reason. Women are more easily spiritually deceived and emotionally led, and are therefore not as suited to the office of pastor as men are.
