Um i think its because of how much its worth....... just understand that they do want to make you happy but a PS3 might be a little out of their price range

If you already have several other game consoles, they probably wont see the reason to buy you a PS3. They probably just think that the PS3 is the same as the other consoles that you have.
Tell them some of the features that the PS3 has (Blu-Ray, built in WiFi, a Web browser, Bluetooth) and see if they change their minds. If they don't change their minds, start saving up some money.

I have a PS3 that doesnt get used. Seriously. Not enough games are out there. Plus they are expensive. Also, I have an XBOX 360 which takes up all my gaming time.

Too expensive? You don't deserve it? You already have 360, PS2, PSP, Wii,Xbox,Cube? You spend too much time playing games when you should be out doing normal kid stuff?

Maybe because you are ungrateful, don't deserve it or already have a X Box, PSP etc.
