I would like to buy a very simple to install and use software tool to convert my Powerpoint presentations into a DVD that can be played on any DVD player. My presentations typically have lots of graphics, transitions, animations, and music/sounds. I would like to DVD program to simply convert my presentation to a useable DVD with the automatic and manual playback options. Thanks

The only way to do this is to get specific PowerPoint to DVD software. The best I've found is this one:
Acoolsoft PPT2DVD
http://www.ppt-to-video.com/powerpoint-to-dvd-overview.html

this was is $79.95 and is one of the few products that didn't mess up animations, transitions and music.

If you search through Yahoo, you may find so many software suggestions about PowerPoint to DVD and PPT to DVD, I don't know which one is the best solution, but I know basic features of the software should have
1. Fast to load
The program should load as quickly as possible so that the user receives a quick response after inserting the DVD into the drive or DVD player.
2. Full inform
The user should be provided with information about who created the DVD and what it contains.
3. Easy navigation
Leave it up to DVD viewers to decide which presentation they want to watch and in what order. You can also give your users the option to watch a presentation again or to skip it.
4. Conversion Speed
I know it's a long time when you are converting a large size PowerPoint. We do hope the software do things quickly and we can even minimize program to do other tasks during the process.
5. Video Quality
The Video quality I mentioned here refers to three things: Definition, Size, and Compatibility.
Definition and Size means that when you are watching your PowerPoint on TV, it should be clear enough and the video size should fit to the screen. Compatibility enables you to play the DVD on different DVD player. It is better for you to play your DVD presentation on most popular DVD Players.
Hope it can help you!

Get a trial version of Sonic DVD.

Does your Powerpoint have the option to save in various formats? If so, it's just a matter of copying the finished file to DVD.

Will this play on a TV-type DVD? Not unless you run it through a program like Sonic.

Hi,

If you are using Mac Powerpoint then it's easy. Use File > Make Movie.

Open the saved movie in QuickTime Pro. Use the File > Save As feature and save it as file type QuickTime.

Open the resulting file in iDVD and click the Burn button.
