Make a pie crust, or use a ready-made one, like Pillsbury. Put in pie pan.

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Dice 1/2 onion and cook in saucepan with small amount of butter. Cook until onion is translucent.

Cook sausages separately. When done, cut into small pieces. Put onion, sausage and 1 cup of shredded cheddar into pie crust.

Beat 4 eggs with 1 cup of half and half (or use cream). Add a dash of salt and pepper. Pour over ingredients in pie crust. Sprinkle with a little paprika. Cook in center of oven for about 45 minutes (until inserted knife comes out clean.) Don't overcook.

Take out of oven and place on rack to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve with sliced fruit or mixed salad.

Enjoy!

I just made this tonight for tomorrow morning.
1.5 cups heavy cream, or half and half or milk
1 cup milk
8 eggs
1/4 cups onions, cooked until tender and nearly clear
sausage cooked and crumbled or bacon cooked and crumbled
pepper to your taste
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 cup cheddar cheese
This recipe makes 2 quiches but this recipe can easily be halved for one quiche.
stir all ingredients in bowl put into a pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Slide a butter knife into the center to make sure it is done. If the knife comes out clean then the quiche is done. This refridgerates well and heats up in the morning great.

INGREDIENTS
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
12 ounces mild link sausage, cooked and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
2 tablespoons chopped pimientos
6 eggs
2/3 cup light cream
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

DIRECTIONS
Unroll one tube of the rolls; press dough onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. baking pan to form a crust. Seal perforations. Sprinkle sausage over crust. In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender; add mushrooms. Spoon over sausage. Top with cheeses and pimientos. In a bowl, beat eggs, cream, parsley, salt, pepper and garlic powder; pour over all. Unroll second tube of rolls; seal perforations. Cut dough into 1/2-in. lengthwise strips. Use strips to form a lattice crust over top of quiche. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes; cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly. Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting.
