in memory or in loving memory ? it's for my aunt for a tattoo

"In memory" is in Italian "In ricordo" but it's ususally followed by the name or as in yr case by the kindred.
So it should be "In ricordo di mia zia" (in memory of my aunt).
If you want translate just "In memory" this would be "Per ricordo" but it makes sense only if you put it under a picture, a drawing or some object.
"In loving memory" is not literally translatable into Italian but a very close meaningful translation would be "Nel caro ricordo di mia zia"

In memory - In memoria.
In loving memory - Amorevole e memoria.
