shortiep (below) Correct! He did speak far more often of the "kingdom of heaven", versus the "place" known as heaven.

Overseer (below) Disagree. There is great importance to understanding the "kingdom of heaven" which is also the "kingdom of God"

Kingdom of the Heavens is God's Organization which Jesus will be king of for 1,000 years and will rule over the earth during that time bring mankind back to perfection so we can have a relationship with Jehovah like the rest of the faithful heavenly organization does.
Heaven, is the physical and spiritual place in which Jehovah and Jesus live. This is the only concept mankind's mind can comprehend at this time and that is why it is described to us in these terms.

Well I feel there may be, depending on what you think the "kingdom of Heaven" is and at what point in time. The word "kingdom" means the King and His dominion. Heaven is wherever God is. There is however a gulf in heaven, described by Jesus here: Luke 16:26 (26) And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Read Luke 16 in its entirety. The "saved" go on one side, the unsaved go on the other. They can see the throne of God but cannot approach it. So yes, there is a difference because though they've entered God's Kingdom, they are not saved. Whether they will be saved at the end of the 1000 year reign, I don't know. Some won't be. So at this point there is a difference. Someday there won't be.

Heaven is a very real place. The kingdom of Heaven, aka the kingdom of God, is the rulership and reign of God which is not confined to the place called Heaven at all.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." That is the principle of the Kingdom of Heaven/God.
This was a concept that was actually very easy for the people in Jesus' day to understand because the Romans had introduced colonization to them. Indeed, God's plan all along was that this very same Earth we live on here today be a colony of Heaven, where we live our lives and self-govern our territory under Him as the Chief Ruler. That is why He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and we are ambassadors of His kingdom, working and waiting in eager anticipation for His Kingdom to be fully manifested on this Earth.
God bless you

Not to add or take away from the scriptures but when you read the kingdom of heaven verses, substitute the kingdom of heaven for "the faith". The scriptures will come alive with new meanings.

"heaven" is speaking of "sphere" or "spheres" in the plural tense. The seen and the unseen worlds or parallel-universes if you like!
"The Kingdom of God" is all-encompassing including all "spheres" or heavens" and also includes HIS VERY PRESENCE in the REAL World where HE IS

"Kingdom" implies government.......obediance, compliance, authority, organization etc
Jesus spoke most of the "Kingdom of Heaven" as opposed to Heaven.
