Obnoxious?

This girl I know told me during a conversation that I had an obnoxious friend. She had only met him once and everyone was drinking heavy. I started playing around with her and said then that means that I am also obnoxious then. She then said sometimes but not in a bad way but in a cute way. So I started playing with her mind telling her that I didn't know that I was that bad of a person. She started to get sad and told me to shut up because I am taking it the wrong way. What I want to know is is there such a thing as not a bad obnoxious. I always thought that obnoxious was a bad thing.

yes, obnoxious is a bad term. however, you totally missed the whole context. the girl was teasing you when you yourself had lightly asked that. she was just challenging your question in a playful manner. she probably had a reason to think your friend was obnoxious and she told you because you didn't seem like the person to affiliate with such types.

Don't play with people's minds. That really is obnoxious. If your friend is a heavy drinker he probably acted like a damn fool. Being obnoxious is not cute. Maybe she just couldn't think of another way to describe you. You sound like a pain in the butt to me.

it is hard to know how far to take teasing at times and with different people, different people razz differently give her some time if you care about her
