Okay the thing that works best with my mum is to get her in a good mood.. And sit her down and talk to her and tell her i know Ive done stupid things in the past blah blah.. But please let me use this to prove to you that i can be trusted.. Say you'll be really sensible and grown up about everything and that it means so much to you.. See how that goes

Good luck!

Speaking as a parent, I don't think there is too much you can do in this short amount of time to change there view of you.

I suggest you use 08 as your year to make better choices and show them that you are responsible and then maybe next year they'll trust you enough to let you go out on New Years Eve.

I'll tell you like I tell my children when they make dumb decisions. "better luck next time". You made the choice to be stupid, if only for a moment, live with the consequences of you actions. that's the 1st spet to being "mature and responsible"

good luck with that one! how old are you anyway? i'm 18 and living at home and my parents trust me and even i have a hard time sneaking Away on new years. my mom worries to much, but i'm glad she did, we planned on leaving a party last year at 2 am but left at 1. on the news the next day was a wreck that happened where we would have been driving had we left at 2 a drunk driver killed a man and his 3 year old that were going to the store for medicine for the girl. scary huh. i think its best if you stay in and see of you can maybe have friends over

If you were old like me you would ask how can I hide on New Year's Eve? LOL.
You will have to earn trust in your life before you get respect and get to do activities. I know it is hard when you are young....but it will pay great rewards if you use empathy and respect others feelings. Have a good Christmas and remember your parents are just trying to do what is best for you.

you already said the magic word that's trust. .there is no good way to convince your parents, you could tell them lie after lie but if there intelligent they will look right through your fibs and know your not telling them the truth, you need to be honest and just do whats right..some of those dumb choices could really you into a lot of trouble.becoming pg at a young age or or worse.

Try acting like an adult, but if you did a COUPLE dumb things, I guess you blew your chance of doing that. Trust is a hard thing to lose.

Probably nothing

If your parents don't trust you, partying on New Years isn't going to be the first on their list.
