Is it biblical that Peter and Paul did not get along?

Nope.

They probably didn't because of Saul(before conversion) going around and preaching against Christians.

I am sure Peter was a great example, but I imagine it would be hard to get along with someone who preached against your church....

Peter called Paul a "beloved brother". (2 Peter 3:15)

As far as getting along, scripture shows that they were like any men. The did at times, and they did not at times. Galatians shows that they had a disagreement, but Acts 15 shows that Peter was preaching the same message as Paul, James being the odd ball.

Here's what Peter said of Paul's writings, " Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction." 1Peter 3:15,16
