things suck at home...both parents are abusive and i cant take it anymore and the other day i kind of broke down in the cps office and told them briefly that my dad had smacked me around and that he had done something sexual to me and i lied for mom i said things were ok with us because the walls were paper thin and i heard her earlier tell about the only incident when i became the abuser but not for long and i just cant be here anymore after mom and i came home from cps she yelled at me about it and smacked me and stabbed my wrist with a fork (no veins hit but it was bleeding) anyways i need to leave this house but most ways of getting out involve her knowing...is there a way i could leave without her knowing???....any ideas??...even maybe some message of hope would be greatly appreciated

How old are you?
First of all, you need to contact organizations which help people in you situation. HAVEN is one. Their hotline is 877.922.1274. Try it.
I'm not a professional, but if I were you, I would find a time when both Mom and Dad are out and then go to a friend's house.
If you're over eighteen and have a job, this is a nice time to get your own apartment. If you're not over eighteen or you don't have a job, stay at a friend's house until things cool down.
Remember, the advice I gave you is not technically professional. Please get professional help from hotlines and organizations.
I really hope things get better with your life.

Depending on where you live, there may be a 24 hour crisis support line you can call. Most communities have a safe house for abused women and children. They'll give you a place to sleep for a few days and someone to talk to that'll help you figure out what's next.
If you're still considered a minor the odds are high you'll find yourself in a foster home. Be careful what you wish for if that's likely. While your foster home will probably be much safer, there are a whole raft of other complications that go along with that.
Good luck.

Is there a way to go to the cops or even family you trust?
You can't just run away and hope they won't notice. They'll notice and might track you down, they could get the police involved and then it looks bad on you because they look like concerned parents and you look inconsiderate. I'm not saying you are inconsiderate or in the wrong. You should get away from them.
It'll be better though if you can get police help. Go to a hospital or some sort of social services or a hospital or something.

aw. I feel so bad for u!
What did the cops do about ur dad?
Well if I were u I would run away! I am sure a homeless shelter would take u in! If for some reason they wouldn't go to the cops and i am sure they would put u in foster care! I know u probably don't want to go to foster care but I think it would be better for u emotionally and psychically! How old are you? If u are lying about this u will get in serious trouble! I sure hope you aren't! If u have to talk about anything just email me at ang_sam_4evatoadally@yahoo.com or im me at ang_sam_4evatoadally

It depends on many things, like your age. But what I would suggest is that you talk to someone at your school, like a guidance counselor. There are laws protecting children and compelling schools to report to appropriate officials in nearly every state. And you sound like a Child In Need of Aid.
In some states you can, after a certain age, leave, but then you really need to have arranged for the support you need to get done with school. I am frankly surprised that you were allowed to return home after reporting sexual abuse. That sounds like you might want to call the bar association and talk with an attorney about suing the State for not protecting you.

If you are being abused, all you have to do is call the police, and tell them what is going on, and they will put you in foster care untill it is all checked out. Make sure you are telling the truth, because it is terrible to lie about a thing like that. If you are just telling a story and trying to sneak out of the house, I'm sorry I won't help you do that. There are many places you can go to for help, if you want out that bad, you will find them and get the help you need.

I hope you get out of there not too banged up. I think that you should come up with a bording school or something somewhere else and get out of it that way during the school year, and during the summer find a cheap sleep away camp. Or if you are out of school then say you want to take an extra class somewhere else for your practice and you will be leaving soon to do that.

when they go to sleep you need to leave. when i was a kid we live in a small house. the only thing upstairs was an attick and me and my brother would go up there and jump off the roof when we needed out. you climbe out of a window, or just wait until they go to sleep and leave or call the police. you need to leave asap. and the first thing you should do is go to the cops. tell them everything. how long it's been going on, and how often. if she tried to kill you once then she will try again. 16 is to young to have to leave this world. i will pray for you. please get out. if nothing else you are 16 and in most states, that is leagal to leave home. good luck kid
