I have what it seems to be a sore throat, but only it's not cuz it's only on 1 side. It's on the right side of my throat, and it's making my right ear hurt. I've had my tonsils taken out so I know that can't be it. Does anyone know what it could be?

thats pretty common if u got ur tonsils removed. ur throught probely got infected which traveled to ur ear since the ear and throught are connected. if u have mucuse, try not to blow to much because it can worsen ur throat and cause a ear infection. trust me u dont want to get a ear infection, it feels like theirs a ballon in ur ear that u wanna pop.

Sounds like your sinuses is draining. It always makes my throat sore on just one side. If you start getting headaches and your nose starts to get stuffy you might want to go to the Dr. for a sinus infection.

You may have an infection, in your right ear, that is draining into your throat. Placing you right ear, on a heating pad, or steam pack, along with taking an analgesic, e.g., ibuprofen, may provide relief.

It could be an oral ulcer, those nasty pink sores that seem to grow overnight, only that in your case it popped in your throat.
Try getting those mouth gargles with Lidocaine and use it as directed to relieve the pain.

Well, your best bet would be to go to www.webmd.com and click on symptom checker and follow the directions, it will give you a list of what it could be and go to your doctor from there, it will ask you if it is on one side or the other, or both, but that would be the most profound answer you will get without actually seeing a doctor.
