Yes, and it means what you suspect. Jesus said it but not many will accept it, for in saying he was NOT of this world, he said it ALL. "This" is HELL. Why else would the devil pop out of the wilderness to tempt him?

Originally, the English term "heaven" was spelled "heofon" in Old English. It referred to the sky.
Edit: I know from personal knowledge, in many languages around the word, they also use the same word for both "Heaven" and "Sky"

Yes Heaven is Above us. Also it can be among us as well because You can make earth like heaven if you believe in God in any religion it may be. All you need is to believe and have faith in God Almighty and He will help you to make it so. God bless you.

Probably God does not want us to find out or really have proof that heaven is above us.

I do not know where Heaven is and it does not matter to me
as long as I get there,if it,s up or if it,s here on earth,I will
just be glad to be with my Heavenly Father.

Are you trying to say that Earth is Hell? I hear that. Not for me, but some people make it Hell for themselves.
