What is the best way to deal with a fart when you feel one coming and you think people will smell it?

Go to the bathroom. Most people have INDOOR plumbing now...

Walk around the room very quickly so when the smell comes, it will be gone into thin air. It works like a charm! Nobody even NOTICES that it smells. Or, you can have hand sanitizer nearby and put some on your hands and dry off your hands by shaking it, so then the hand sanitizer will drown out the smell of the fart. It works EVERY TIME.....=D

Let it go, as silently as possible. Farts smell, thats a fact, but NEVER admit to farting, even if there are only two of you in the room. If there isn't a dog to blame it on, begin searching the premisis for an imaginary gas leak or backed up toilet.
Whatever it takes, but I repeat:NEVER admit that you are the one that farted.

Hold it! People claim to not be able to... but that's bullsh!t haha. I've been holding them for years!
Either that, or leave. Go outside or to the bathroom. If necessary, pretend you need to make a phone call and go somewhere less crowded, so you can "hear".
