Thank you, fierce. Your response is so kind.

Many great answers. Going to voting.

Happy New Year, everyone, and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas (unless, of course, you don't celebrate it).

I spent the day with my family, and need to get back into the cyber world to chill out after a day of "bonding".

I just finished my third Manhattan (yeah!) and am sitting on the toilet (my favorite place to tune into Yahoo! Answers) and I am waiting for family members to arrive and Christmas Eve dinner (Skyline Chili - it's a Cincinnati thing) to be served before we head off to Midnight Mass at my wife's church.

I was curious about what the questions would be like here on R&S on this second holiest evening of the year (second only, in my mind, to Easter Saturday).

I don't celebrate Christmas, so to me its just another night. I happen to be alone this evening so I thought I'd kill some time listening to George Jones and posting on the internet.

You have a life and it is precious, never forget that. I am on here because I am at work pulling 12 straight days starting last Friday. I have done everything I could do to this point so I am checking out one of my favorite playgrounds. Have fun at your son's tomorrow.

My husband and I are over 1200 miles from "home". We are not going home, our kids are not coming here. The friends we have made here are busy with their own families and we feel like an intrusion. Furthermore, my hubby is watching a program that I do not care to see, so I am alternating between Y/A and freecell!

I already had my holiday with my family, my husband is watching football and trying to fix someones laptop, and I'm under the weather so I'm lying down listening to the comedy channel and just surfing around in between napping.

For me, tonight and tomorrow are like any other day.

All my family members in close visiting distance is sick and I'm still getting over a cold. No one wants to give it to each other and that is totally understandable. Hopefully, I can make it to my nephew's house tomorrow to be with him for Xmas Day.
