???????????
Other than Pluto recently being declared NOT a planet, I have no idea what you are talking about.
Ah, a parody. I think we all missed it, but it's good.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Yes, you can believe in Pluto the planet and be a Christian in good standing. Pluto the cartoon dog is also acceptable, to a degree. Pluto, the Greek god of the underworld, however, would be pagan. You would want to stay away from that.

A better question would be:
Can someone believe that Pluto is a planet and be a science geek at the same time?....
I'm a Christian, and I am aware that science recently decided that Pluto is not, after all, a planet...

Yes. Pluto being a planet does not have anything to do with being a Christian.

I dont get it??? Pluto was found to not be a planet--it's just a "thing" floating around out there. What does this have to do with being a Christian or not?

christianity isn't very clear, it's very vague as to what you should and shouldn't do, as well as the history behind it all.
there isn't anything in the bible that says "if you are christian, you cannot believe that pluto is a planet"
there isn't any law that says that either.
i believe that you can believe in science and still believe in god. there are so many scientists who are christian or in another faith.
scientists always do that, they constantly categorize and recatergorize. in the future they might put pluto back as a planet.
if your talking about the roman death god, pluto. than yes, you don't believe pluto is a god. you believe its a planet and you can be christian at the same time.

For years , many years scientists said Pluto was a planet . The only thing that has evolved is their teaching . The Bible has not changed at all .
