I'm in the 8th grade and this girl told me she liked me. But two days later she tells me that she had a feeling that she liked me but then didn't like me. She is my friends sister. Does that mean she likes me but doesn't want to risk her brother, my friend, finding out? Or does she just have mixed emotions?

id say a lil bit of both.
i thnk its more of mixed emotions.
chances r, since u didnt reply when she said she liked you, she might have said that to make it seem liek she was over you to escape embarrasement.;
but if you like her, u need to tell her before she thinks you dont nd she moves on.

mixed emotions! girls always have them lol. i was in a similar situation with a guy..who i later dated for a year. i was really confused at first & i guess that scared him away..but we eventually got together about 5 months later. so i say just give it some time & tell her to make up her mind & not to mess with your emotions. i know it is hard & girls r confusing. but dont wait around for a girl that is going to mess with your head & like you one day & then the next she doesnt.

At this age everyone has mixed emotions about everything. This a very unpredictable and erratic stage of life for anyone. If you haven't experienced see-sawing emotions, confusion, and the inability to pinpoint what you really want, hold on ...you will soon.

she has mixed emotions. its both that she's afraid about her brother finding out && how he'll react && she's not sure what she feels. girls are very emotional && sometimes want to feel a certain way towards some one or something when they feel the complete opposite or aren't sure what to feel or how to react. ...... just talk things out with her && let her know that u like her too . she probably just thought that u didnt like her && didnt want to seem stupid.

Maybe she likes you and after confessing it to you, regretted telling you (for whatever reason) and then "took it back" by telling you the second statement. Or maybe she's just confused. Or maybe it is true! Girls are strange like that (and I"m one!) I guess all you can do now is to give it time and see how she is around you...after all action speaks louder than words. Good luck!

I really think it depends how old the girl is. She may be hot and well developed but her mind may be playing tricks on her or she cant make up her mind. Im not saying she doesnt like you but she might just need some time.
